Supporting Local Communities in Times of Need
The NC Architectural Foundation is committed to helping communities recover and rebuild after disasters. Through emergency relief initiatives, grants, and volunteer support, we assist affected areas in restoring safe, resilient, and well-designed spaces. Our efforts empower architects and community members to work together, ensuring that recovery is thoughtful, sustainable, and lasting.
Support for rebuilding communities
Hurricane Helene
In response to the devastation in Western North Carolina, AIA NC mobilized quickly, raising over $30,000 in relief funds, coordinating donations of essential supplies, and checking on the safety of 200+ individuals. We also leveraged our network of architects to assist in rebuilding and partnered locally to provide recovery resources.
Donations to the North Carolina Architectural Foundation are vital to these efforts—helping restore homes, businesses, and hope in the hardest-hit communities. With your support, we can rebuild stronger, more resilient towns and ensure North Carolina’s spirit shines through.
